Our 2020 season will involve pre-season training starting in February, followed by a full season of OBA rep baseball from the beginning of May to the end of August.
We are still looking for players! Specifically for 16U and 11U. If interested please sign up for a tryout using the link below and we will contact you.
We are also looking to form Select teams. If interested please contact president@bytowndodgers.com.
We are continuing tryouts for roster spots through January and February to fill our remaining roster spots.
Individual player evaluations will be conducted either at Boys and Girls Club, 430 McArthur Ave., Ottawa or at the Russell Dome.

Program Highlights
For 2020 we are implementing a new model where an experienced non-parent head coach will be supported by NCCP-trained assistant coaches.
All coaches will also participate in training activities led by professional coaches and trainers in partnership with Roch Seguin and the Capital City Reds.
This mixed model is designed to develop baseball skills before the season start, and build a coaching team that is familiar with the training program and the drills that can be run to reinforce these skills.
Coaches will be selected and trained to instill a positive, supportive team spirit, where players take responsibility for their actions on and off the field and work together to create the best Bytown Dodgers team possible.
Our teams play in the OBA rep program, designed to help players develop skills that will take them to elite level teams and beyond.
Our focus is player development; we begin with winter training in indoor training facilities that develop skills in batting, pitching and fielding. As soon as fields are available we move outside and continue this training with more emphasis on situational drills.
In 2019 the 15U Bytown Dodgers Bantam team played in the NCOBA and EOBA leagues, while the 13U Peewee and 11U Mosquito teams played local NCOBA-only loops that included exhibition games against local teams from Baseball Quebec (ABEO). All teams participated in three tournaments during the regular season. We anticipate that Mosquito and Peewee teams playing with the Bytown Dodgers in 2020 will follow a similar game schedule,
We are exploring the possibility of playing a local loop at the Bantam level.
